Earth Day 2008
in Dallas at AT&T and Pegasus Plaza
Blackland Prairie Raptor Center will have their raptor ambassadors at Earth Day 2008 on April 18th, in downtown Dallas. The festivities are from 10am to 2pm in the AT& T and Pegasus Plaza areas, and BPRC will have their raptors out to present to visitors. At noon, we will have a formal presentation on the
AT & T stage.
There will be many exhibitors focusing on a variety of environmental topics and a number of presentations on-stage. To learn more about this event, please visit:

Spring - A Season of Renewal
at Brockdale Park in Lucas
Join us for an afternoon to enjoy the renewal of life in nature! There will be presentations of our raptors as well as guided bird walks, prairie walks and much more.
Cost: Admission is $2 per adult, children under 3 are free.
Schedule: Presentations on the hour - Raprtors and others at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00.
Walks on the half-hour - Butterfly, birds and prairie at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30.
Location: Brockdale Park at Lake Lavon in Lucas, Texas - cross streets: Lucas Road (FM 3286) & Brockdale Park Road.
Directions: Take Highway 75 to Allen, exit Bethany Road. Go east 6.1 miles (Bethany becomes Lucas Road). At light, go east on FM 3286 approximately 0.6 miles. Turn on to Brockdale Park Road and go approximately 1 mile to park.
